dress hunters

You know how on House Hunters they have 3 different houses and it's a game to see who guesses which one they'll get? Well, I'm not getting a prom dress, but if I were, here are my 3 choices. You have to comment and tell me which one you think I'll get.

#1 Very pretty white dress. I love the delicate lacy look of it. I also love how it is long and flowy. But it might be awkward if I'm drinking red punch and I happen to miss my mouth. And would it look too much like a wedding dress?

#2(the one on the right) I love the way this dress looks so beachy! The sequins at the top almost look like shells. Since I live in a coastal area, this would be great. This is also a very good color on me. It looks like it could be low though, and I'm not a huge fan of strapless dresses. Also I am not sure what I think of the high waist.

#3 I love this dress! I really like the color and the way there is just one strap. I also like how high the dress comes. I'm not sure what I think of the middle section. Also, I can't see her feet; would I be tripping over this dress?

So what do you think? Would I get dress number 1, 2, or 3? Comment and let me know or vote on our poll. The answer will be posted next week. :)

pick up your edge

2 Kings 6:1-7

Now the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “See, the place where we dwell under your charge is too small for us. Let us go to the Jordan and each of us get there a log, and let us make a place for us to dwell there.” And he answered, “Go.” Then one of them said, “Be pleased to go with your servants.” And he answered, “I will go.”  So he went with them. And when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees.  But as one was felling a log, his axe head fell into the water, and he cried out, “Alas, my master! It was borrowed.” Then the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, he cut off a stick and threw it in there and made the iron float.  And he said, “Take it up.” So he reached out his hand and took it.
